Reason for Poems & Poem: His Boat

I have written many poems in my life. The large portion of them aimed from the perspective of a prayer. The inspiration from the poems I write are not necessarily from my own struggles. Many poems I write, I write out of a sympathetic heart. I can see the pain they feel, I hear the thoughts they wrestle with, and i see the fatigue of the fight in their countenance. So i allow my self to be touched by their situation, and mix their pain, with God’s Power for a story, a prayer, or a cry for hope.

I say this so you can enjoy the poems i write from a fresh perspective and maybe relate it to struggles in your own life, instead of thinking i need some serious prayer 🙂 I hope you enjoy all the Future Poems i Post. God Bless!

Day in and day out                                                                                                 I just can’t seem to carry out,                                                                           All these plans you put inside me, Why can’t I just be….

Be the person i’ve dreamed, Instead I wake up to this fiend. I want to change for God’s plan,  and what’s worse is… I can.

It’s easy to do but only with him, You can’t do it alone, your light’s too dim, I know your tired… Tired of failure’s pain, Trying to fix your life so u feel gain.

I know you feel stranded barely  staying afloat, Thinking God is better off if you don’t hop in his boat. You can’t comprehend , After all the times you’ve sinned

That he’d forgive you again and again,                                                       And your heart start to mend.

He’s deity, and no one understands, How much he loves and how big are his plans.
