As I woke up in the morning I knew I had to take care of some bills, so I rolled out of bed with my wife Leah still asleep to go take care of the bills. I had just finished paying all my taxes, and all the bills I had due for the end of the month, and compiled the list of expenses I had for the previous month. After I finished with the monthly budget I looked what I had in the bank account. If you have seen the movie “It’s a Wonderful Life” I very much felt like George Bailey as he was placing “momma” dollar, and “poppa” dollar in the bank safe. Relieved that I had taken care of all the bills I had for the month, but a twinge of discouragement as I hoped to have more so I could do more for my family, and my wife. Knowing I couldn’t do anything about it I just pushed the feeling away as I went to perform my morning routine. I have a list of prosperity scriptures and healing scriptures I read every morning and confess them over my life before praying over my day. After reading
through all the scriptures, and confessing them I felt no different and continued on with my day. It was a pretty normal morning from there on out. Most mornings while reading, confessing, and praying, I got to admit it feels extremely dry, I don’t feel the Shekinah Glory fill my apartment, I don’t get revelations that blow me away, but it’s a commitment, and I can’t tell you how many times later that day or weeks after, something I read, or prayed gets brought back up within my spirit and I do feel God’s presence. It happened while I was driving, shopping for groceries, and even in the middle of a conversation with someone.
Later on today I was chatting with my mother and she mentioned something about money and I thought back to how much was in my bank account. Immediately, God brought back to my memory prosperity scripture after prosperity scripture. After being thoroughly encouraged in the Lord, he posed a question to me, not audibly but in my spirit how he talks to all His children, and the question was “Which one will you look at?” Though I have heard sermons, and read books saying variations of what he spoke to me, when he said it, the revelation clicked, like the missing piece to a puzzle. I would look at His Word instead of my bank account. I would walk by what He said, instead of what I see. I walked the rest of the day with too high a spirit to be encumbered by my old nonsense. So I wanted to share the prosperity scriptures I read every morning. And pose you the question, What are you looking at? The problem, or the solution, namely, His Word.
“And my God will liberally supply ([a]fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

-Psalm 37:4 (AMP)
“Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 And who of you by worrying can add one [l]hour to [the length of] his life? 28 And why are you worried about clothes? See how the lilies and wildflowers of the field grow; they do not labor nor do they spin [wool to make clothing], 29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory and splendor dressed himself like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive and green today and tomorrow is [cut and] thrown [as fuel] into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!31 Therefore do not worry or be anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted), saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ 32 For the [pagan] Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; [but do not worry,] for your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.”
-Mathew 6:26-33 (AMP)
Bring all the tithes (the tenth) into the [a]storehouse, so that there may be [b]food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you [so great] a blessing until there is no more room to receive it.

And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

-John 16:24 (AMPC)
Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]— To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.
-Psalm 37:5 (AMPC)
I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the [uncompromisingly] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread.
